The D’Angelo Department of Music offers performances through its Faculty Recital Series, the Roche Guest Artist Series, student Senior Recitals, and our large ensembles such as the Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Christopher Petit; the Wind Ensemble and the Jazz Ensemble, both conducted by Dr. Scott Meier; and the Ƶapp Civic Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Gary Viebranz, featuring D’Angelo students and advanced community musicians. In addition, many chamber groups—including brass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, voice, piano, and strings—perform in our Small Ensembles Concert held each semester.

*Concert ticket prices are as follows: $8.50 for adults, and $5 for Ƶapp students, employees, and 12 and under. Each ticket purchase is subject to a $1.50 service fee.

'Tis the Season is a collaboration of the D’Angelo Jazz Ensemble, Dr. Scott Meier, Director, and the Ƶapp Dance Department, Noelle Partusch, Chair.
‘Tis the season for trumpets, tutus, sugar plums, and saxophones! Let the Ƶapp Dancers and Jazz Ensemble put you in the holiday spirit with a concert of music and movement. Swing into the holidays with the Jazz Ensemble’s big band collection of seasonal tunes. The Ƶapp Dancers will also present “The Nutcracker Suite.” Set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless seasonal classic, this beloved ballet is a feast for the eyes. ‘Tis the Season is perfect for the whole family.
