MUS 230-330:Â Secondary Choral Methods
Ms. Weber directs the adult singing and bell choirs, as well as the men’s chorus and the women’s chorus, at the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Erie. She is also the organist for the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, where she has served for the past 12 years.
She enjoys continued education, often attending choral directing workshops, clinics, and conferences by the nation’s leading choral conductors, such as Rodney Eichenberger, Rollo Dillworth and Christopher Kiver. In 2017, Dr. Kiver invited the men from her McDowell Vocal Ensemble to be part of his live demonstration for his choral clinic, a part of PMEA All-State in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Weber recently retired from the position of Director of Choral Activities and Secondary Music Department Chairperson for McDowell (Intermediate) High School. While there, she enjoyed hosting numerous PMEA festivals. Both she and her students attended PMEA District Chorus, Region Chorus, All-State Chorus, All-Eastern Chorus and Nationals. The Vocal Ensemble traveled to New York, NY, and Disney, where they performed and participated in choral workshops.
