Each year, City & State honors exceptional individuals in Pennsylvania for their accomplishments across various sectors including politics, media, education, nonprofit, and beyond. In the case of Higher Education, the organization identifies leaders whose creativity and collaborative spirit are at the heart of the sector’s resilience in the face of extremely challenging times.  

Britt graduated with an information systems degree from Ƶapp University in 1997 and stayed at the school as a programmer. She has remained on campus ever since, working her way up to leadership roles around advancement and strategic planning and technology, including a decade as the school’s chief information officer. As of 2022, Britt is the senior vice president for administration and chief operating officer, overseeing areas from IT and institutional research to facilities management. She also holds an MBA from Gannon University.
