Pride of PA Battalion hosts commissioning ceremony for Julia Noll

Ƶapp University senior Julia Elizabeth Noll will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army when the ROTC “Pride of PA” Battalion hosts a special commissioning ceremony in her honor on Friday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. in Walker Recital Hall.

An Intelligence Studies major slated to graduate this month, Noll is the daughter of Michael and Catherine Noll of Eldersburg, Maryland. During her ROTC tenure, Noll served as OTM, company commander; and was a team member of the Ranger Challenge and Artic Challenge. She will report for officer training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and begin active duty in the Military Police Corps.

Opening remarks at Friday’s commissioning will be provided by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rich McCarty. Guest speaker is Brian Fuller, director of the Center for Intelligence Research, Analysis, and Training (CIRAT) at Ƶapp, and first sergeant (retired), U.S. Army. The invocation and benediction will be offered by Sister Natalie Rossi, RSM.
